Acceptable Content Guidelines (Print-on-Demand)

1. Purpose

These Acceptable Content Guidelines ("Guidelines") define what content is permitted and prohibited for any print-on-demand ("POD") items offered through the Soufiane Boudarraja ecosystem (the "Ecosystem"). The goal is to protect customers, partners, and the public, and to ensure that designs and printed items remain lawful, respectful, and aligned with our values and supplier obligations. This document is intended to cover the Ecosystem as a whole so separate content rules are not needed for each POD collection, shop, or campaign.

2. Scope

These Guidelines apply to:

  • All POD product designs created,      published, or sold by us (including the "Speak Up" movement and      any future collections).

  • Any design customisations, uploads, or      text inputs you submit for a POD order, where such customisation is      enabled.

  • Any user-submitted assets (logos, slogans,      artwork, photos) provided for POD production.

These Guidelines apply in addition to the Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), DMCA Policy, Human Rights Policy, and Licensing and Usage Rights Policy. If these Guidelines conflict with a supplier’s or platform’s rules, the stricter standard applies.

3. Definitions

"POD" means products printed and fulfilled on demand through third-party fulfilment partners.

"Design" means any artwork, text, symbols, images, or layout used on POD products.

"User-submitted content" means any content you upload or provide for custom printing (including text personalisation).

"Protected characteristics" include, for example, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, and similar characteristics recognised by law.

4. Core principles

All POD designs and user submissions must meet these baseline principles:

  • Legality: content must be lawful in relevant      jurisdictions.

  • Dignity and safety: content must not promote violence,      dehumanisation, or targeted abuse.

  • Respect for rights: content must respect intellectual      property, privacy, and publicity rights.

  • No exploitation: content must not exploit vulnerable groups      or encourage self-harm.

  • Operational feasibility: content must be printable and compatible      with supplier constraints (materials, inks, and production limitations).

5. Prohibited content

The following content is prohibited for POD products, designs, and customisations:

5.1 Hate, harassment, and discrimination

  • Hate speech, slurs, or content that      promotes hostility or violence against people based on protected      characteristics.

  • Content that dehumanises, depicts a group      as inferior, or celebrates harm against a group.

  • Harassment, bullying, stalking,      intimidation, or targeted abuse of individuals or groups.

5.2 Violence and threats

  • Content that threatens violence or      promotes violence against a person, group, or community.

  • Content that glorifies real-world      violence, terrorism, or extremist violence.

  • Instructions or encouragement for      committing violence or wrongdoing.

5.3 Sexual content and exploitation

  • Any sexual content involving minors, or      content that sexualises minors.

  • Non-consensual sexual content,      exploitation, or coercion.

  • Explicit sexual content intended to arouse      or promote pornographic material on general-audience merchandise.

5.4 Self-harm and eating-disorder promotion

  • Content that encourages self-harm,      suicide, or eating disorders.

  • Content that provides instructions or      social reinforcement to self-harm behaviours.

5.5 Illegal activity and regulated goods

  • Content that promotes illegal activity or      provides instructions to commit crimes.

  • Content that promotes the sale of illegal      drugs or controlled substances.

  • Content that promotes the sale, use, or      acquisition of regulated weapons or weapon parts where unlawful or unsafe,      or where prohibited by suppliers.

5.6 Intellectual property violations

  • Unlicensed use of third-party trademarks,      logos, brand names, or trade dress (including celebrity brands and sports      teams).

  • Unlicensed use of copyrighted works (art,      photos, illustrations, lyrics, quotes beyond permitted use).

  • Derivative works or “lookalike” designs      intended to imitate a protected brand or creator.

  • Any submission where you cannot confirm      you own the rights or have written permission to use the material.

5.7 Privacy, publicity, and personal data

  • Content containing personal data of third      parties without a lawful basis and appropriate permission (for example,      private addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers).

  • Use of a person’s name, image, or likeness      without the person’s consent where required by law (publicity rights).

  • Doxxing or content intended to expose,      threaten, or harass individuals.

5.8 Fraud, deception, and impersonation

  • Content that impersonates a person or      entity in a misleading way.

  • Content intended to deceive, scam, or      defraud (including fake “official” seals, certificates, or authority      marks).

5.9 Extremist content

  • Content that supports or promotes      extremist organisations or ideologies, including glorification,      recruitment, or propaganda.

  • Symbols, slogans, or imagery used to      endorse extremist violence or hatred.

5.10 Defamation and unlawful claims

  • Defamatory content presented as fact about      identifiable individuals or entities.

  • False claims about endorsements,      certifications, or affiliations.

6. Restricted content and context-based review

Some content is not automatically prohibited, but may be restricted or refused depending on context, jurisdiction, and supplier rules. Examples include satire, political commentary, and sensitive topics. We may require additional information or may refuse production if the risk of harm, illegality, or supplier rejection is high.

7. Quality and print feasibility rules

To protect customers and reduce production failures, designs must also meet feasibility requirements:

  • No content that relies on tiny text or      fine detail that is likely to print unreadably on the selected product.

  • No misleading colour claims (for example,      “exact colour match” promises).

  • No designs that intentionally exploit      print limitations to hide or misrepresent content.

  • Compliance with our Technical and Printing      Specifications (where applicable).

We may reject designs that are technically unprintable or that fail supplier requirements (file type, resolution, placement, or prohibited manufacturing constraints).

8. Review and moderation

We may review POD designs and user submissions before or after an order is placed. Review methods may include manual checks, supplier checks, and automated screening. We do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be detected before fulfilment, but we aim to act quickly once an issue is identified.

9. Rejection, cancellation, and refunds

If a design or user submission violates these Guidelines or supplier rules, we may refuse production, remove the design, or cancel the order. Where an order is cancelled before production, we may refund the purchase price in line with our Terms and Conditions. If an item has already entered production or has shipped, refund eligibility may be limited, especially for personalised items, unless required by law.

10. Reporting concerns

If you believe a design violates these Guidelines or infringes rights, use our contact page: https://www.soufianeboudarraja.com/contactand include supporting detail (links, screenshots, product name, and order ID if available).

11. Third-party platforms and fulfilment providers

POD products are fulfilled through third-party providers who may apply their own content standards and may reject production even when content appears compliant with these Guidelines. We cannot guarantee a provider will accept a design. Where a provider rejects content or cancels fulfilment, we may substitute a comparable provider, adjust production, or cancel the order.

12. Enforcement

Violations of these Guidelines may result in one or more of the following:

  • Removal of designs from the store or      catalog.

  • Cancellation of orders or refusal of      future orders.

  • Suspension or termination of access to      customisation features.

  • Suspension or termination of accounts or      licenses where applicable.

  • Reporting unlawful conduct to relevant      authorities where appropriate.

13. Changes to these Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines to reflect legal, operational, or supplier changes. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when changes took effect. Material changes will be posted through our Websites.
